Movie Night with Hoyts

By Christina Kim - September 14, 2015

It does not always have to be the main attractions in the city that completes a traveling experience.

That is just part of the trip and being a tourist.

To go on a real experience, that would include assimilating with the local culture and just do what the locals do.

It is often not easy when you are traveling on a trip with a limited number of days or putting up at a hotel, and with the clock ticking.
I understand and I have been through that.

I am blessed that I have a local guide and a host this time in Melbourne, making this one of the my best experiences abroad.

I get to visit places that only the locals would know, among the tourist attractions despite my limited time too, all thanks to my host who is also my lovely friend and sister.

The best part, amid all the sightseeing and local attractions, is to spend some quality time together and relive those wonderful memories of our longtime friendship.
She is more than just a best friend, she is the sister I have never had.

We can be a crazy pair when we are together, but that is the fun about the friendship and sisterhood.

One of my best memories of Melbourne, is our lovely(crazy) date and movie night towards the end of my trip.

We had fun chatting and laughing ourselves silly over the Chocolate meal we shared; when I was such a non-chocolate fan but thanks to her, I have also learnt a lot about the brand.

Then we enjoyed our movie at the local cinema; Hoyts.

Hoyts is a local Australian cinema with 450 screens in the country and another 10 cineplexes in New Zealand.

The movie we watched?

ALOHA!

The movie reminded me of my other loved one and the sweet memories I had in the place featured in the movie <3

The cinema had their lounge in the foyer, with comfortable couches set up for the movie goers to wait for their movie to start or while the cleaning of the cinema is in progress.

My Movie Date night is probably one of the best thing I have done in Melbourne, well, actually I enjoyed almost everything I have done in Melbourne.

I am already missing Melbourne as I write this, and every post related to the trip :-(
