An Awakening: The Light of Dawn

DAWN.

Images of soft hues of the glowing sun slowly rising from its chambers, emerging in appearance, radiating strength into its emanating light with every move.
It is just so subtle, so gentle and seamless that it is not even noticed by the naked eye.

Before we know it, the sun has already appeared before us.
In a full circle.
In its brightest.

We wonder, when did that happen?

The soft hues, the light glow are now strong forces of piercing rays, blinding and glaring straight at our eyes.

We can barely see the sun's form, and its outline is made out of our intuitive nature.

It is truly amazing, the way the sun breaks into dawn; that very first sign of its light to its full transformation to a force of brightness.

The sun is truly awake; she has awakened from her night slumber and she makes it clear and obvious for all to see.

It is exhilarating, and breathtaking to watch the sun rise and to witness the break of dawn.

It is the awakening; and it is not just the sun which is awakened, but we feel just as awake and ignited in strength witnessing the miracle before our eyes.

It is that very feeling that makes us feel powerful, motivated and energized.
It is an awakening of every part of us, just like the sun.

There are times when we feel lost and lonely, feeling like the whole world is just dark and cold.
Weariness, uncertainties, fear, anxiety surround us as we stand in the dark.
We couldn't see the light and we wonder, if there is ever a light.

We dare not take another step forward, for fear of falling.
We cannot see what is before us, except darkness.
The black scares us.
We are afraid of the dark.
We are afraid of what lurks in the dark.
We are afraid to get hurt.

What if we fall?
What if I stumble upon a rock?
What if I hurt myself?

At the same time, there is that tiny voice that says, go, go ahead.
Try to take just one step.

I don't want to, I can't, I really can't.

It is the battle inside our minds which weaken us, creating more uncertainties than ever as we fight to stand on that spot or just take one step forward.

We are not sure what is before us, and what lies await.

But, little did we know, the moment we clear those doubts and trust ourselves, the soft lights start to appear, just faintly at that far distance, like at the far end of what seems to be a tunnel.

It looks far, but we can see those faint lights and strangely, they are just so comforting.
They gave us strength, and confidence and suddenly, we find ourselves making that step towards it.
It is bizarre, but we find energy and moved forward, slowly and surely at first, but then we seemed to be running towards the light with all our strength.
We are spirited, charged and just so excited to get to the light.

The newfound strength filled us with hope, or the other way round.

As we run towards that light, we see it becoming brighter and the opening seems to be bigger and once we reach it, we find ourselves right in the open and we are surrounded by striking brightness.

A wave of euphoria just fill our hearts and minds, and naturally, we raise our hands in the air, welcoming that new liberty.

It is the light, it is our new dawn.

It is an awakening.

There is no better feeling than that.

At the Temple of Dawn, Wat Arun in Bangkok.
A place which gave me that feeling as I wandered through its space and the strong rays of sun are casted everywhere.

There is no way to hide from the brightness of the sun, and it is brightness everywhere I went.

I can see the meaning behind its name, for it is truly apt with the entirety of its complex and colors which is just courting the sun into its presence.

It is the feeling of awakening in that blinding light.

That welcomed brightness.

May it shine brightly on our paths, wherever we go...

The future will always seem bright, as long as we carry that light in our minds, all the time~
